Key Responsibilities
Role Overview
- Part of our Support Worker team.
- Responsible to: Service Manager.
- Primary focus: Delivering high-quality, personalised care.
Core Duties
Colleagues
- Mentor new team members.
- Participate in supervision, observation, and appraisals.
- Maintain clear, professional communication records.
Business Compliance
- Follow WCL’s financial and sustainability policies.
Resident Support
- Promote choice and independence while adhering to best practices & legal requirements.
- Collaborate on individual support plans (personal care, activities, advocacy).
- Safeguard residents’ views and act as their advocate.
- Handle concerns/complaints per WCL policy.
Safeguarding & Compliance
- Complete Vulnerable Adults/Capacity Act training.
- Report concerns immediately.
