[Production Operative] Role at Windrush

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join our team.

As part of the Operations Team, you’ll work on a 3-shift rotating pattern. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Highly motivated, focused, and driven
  • Project a positive and safe attitude
  • Demonstrate excellent self-organisation and motivation skills
  • Be a great communicator
  • Support continuous improvement in productivity and wastage reduction, while ensuring full compliance with the site’s Health & Safety culture

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with health and safety standards and report any near misses or incidents in accordance with company policy.
  • Operate in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) to ensure high performance and quality, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Work in alignment with the site’s quality standards, performing relevant checks.
  • Undertake first-level maintenance tasks and asset care across designated areas.
  • Complete competency-based training in all production areas to develop multi-skilled capabilities.
  • Actively participate in the site’s SKOPE program.
  • Adopt a proactive problem-solving approach to tackle operational challenges.
  • Ensure effective communication for high-quality work handovers.
  • Note: This role isn’t limited to stated duties; the company may occasionally require additional responsibilities commensurate with your capability.
