We are seeking a motivated and reliable Flexographic Printer to join a production team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role offers comprehensive on-the-job training, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a career in print manufacturing. The hours are on a day shift working Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of flexographic printing equipment while learning industry-standard printing processes, quality control procedures, and production techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Printing Operations
- Assist in setting up and operating flexographic printing presses.
- Prepare printing materials, inks, plates, and substrates.
- Monitor print quality throughout production runs.
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain print standards.
- Ensure jobs are completed according to production schedules.
Quality Control
- Conduct visual inspections of printed products.
- Check colours, registration, and print quality against specifications.
- Report defects or production issues to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Equipment Maintenance
- Clean printing presses and associated equipment.
- Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure work areas remain clean and organised.
Health & Safety
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Handle inks, solvents, and materials safely.
- Support a safe working environment for all team members.
Training Provided
Successful Candidates Will Receive Structured On-the-job Training Covering
- Flexographic printing principles and processes.
- Press setup and operation.
- Ink mixing and colour management.
- Quality control techniques.
- Production documentation.
- Equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- Health, safety, and environmental procedures.

No previous flexographic printing experience is required — full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
