An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing float secretarial team.
About You
You’ll have extensive secretarial experience, ideally across multiple legal departments. You will be positive, professional and a great team player.
About The Team You Will Be Joining
Our team provide flexible secretarial services across the Firm as a whole and to cope with absence cover and heavy workloads. We link up where required with other specialist departments in the firm in an open and welcoming environment, which encourages teamwork and co-operation.
We have a partner led approach on all matters, providing a flexible team structure which helps to develop junior members of the team and allocation of work to the right level.

What will I be doing?
You will be responsible for providing a full range of secretarial services including: dealing with quotes and potential new clients and opening and closing files.
Day -to-day Responsibilities Include
- To perform all typing (digital and copy) and general clerical tasks in connection with the work of the assigned Fee Earner/ Department.
- To select and amend standard letters as appropriate.
- To handle telephone calls, queries and enquiries efficiently and courteously, passing on messages as appropriate.
- To arrange meetings and appointments as requested.
- To notify the Fee Earner or Department Head of any difficulties which might affect the smooth running of the job or the achievement of tasks set.
