Field Support Chef

Location: Dicky Birds Nurseries (Surbiton, Wimbledon, and Raynes Park)

Part of Grandir UK Salary: £26,437 - £30,701 (with regular pay reviews)

Our Dicky Birds Day Nursery, including two Outstanding rated nurseries, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Field Nursery Chef to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity, and helping them thrive every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare six-monthly menus while gathering feedback to finalise the menu
  • Support and guide catering staff and Nursery Managers
  • Maintain high catering standards through monitoring and auditing
  • Assist with catering staff recruitment and selection
  • Conduct TCC and PSN kitchen audits
  • Ensure complete, accurate kitchen records
  • Build professional relationships with nursery staff
