Who are Codi Group?

Codi is a not-for-profit with a big heart and an even bigger mission. As Wales’ largest provider of housing, care, and support, we’re here to help people live well, feel supported, and rise to their full potential.

Every day, our teams support nearly 17,000 individuals across Wales with services that make a real and uplifting difference to their everyday lives.

Our name says it all: ‘Codi’ means rise in Welsh. It reflects who we are, where we come from, and our ambition to lift expectations, lift communities, and lift each other.

About the role

This is a Floating Support Worker role based in the community and out of the drop-in centre in the Vale. The service provides support to anyone who requires immediate support around housing, debt, and homelessness prevention. We also offer engagement support where we organise community events to give people opportunities to connect, build confidence, and access resources to improve their wellbeing and independence.

As a Floating Support Worker, you will provide housing-related support to assist with the prevention of homelessness. You will offer support around budgeting, rent arrears, accessing grants, accessing future housing, and tenancy set-ups. You will encourage customers to deal with issues that may threaten their progression, especially with matters relating to behaviour, substance misuse, health, wellbeing, budgeting, benefits, and household management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
