About the Role
The Floor Lead plays a pivotal role on our store leadership team, driving the success of the store by:
- Upholding exceptional customer service standards
- Fostering team development
- Ensuring seamless execution of daily operations
As a key presence on the sales floor, the Floor Lead embodies Mejuri’s values—acting as a natural motivator, collaborative team player, and inspiring role model. They create an engaging, dynamic environment for both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities
🏆 Customer Experience
- STACK Leadership: Lead by example to uphold Mejuri’s Steps of Selling and drive team performance against KPIs:
- Operational Performance (OPH)
- Net Promoter Score (NPS, 85%< target)
- Sales per Hour (SPH)
- STACK Leader Segment (Conversion & Sales Success)
- Support services (piercing, engraving, etc.) by ensuring positive customer interactions
- Resolve escalations with urgency, collaborating across teams when needed

🏪 Operations & Inventory
- Inventory & Cycle Counts: Assist monthly inventory execution and troubleshoot technology issues as needed
- Order Fulfillment: Support back-of-house (BOH) flow for in-store sales, phone sales, or BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick In-Store), ensuring efficiency in packaging and order delivery
- Storage & Organization: Maintain clean, functional storage for BOH inventory, displays, and supplies
- Systems & Technology: Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software
- Shrink Prevention: Identify and mitigate internal, external, and administrative product loss
- Escalate opportunities, gaps, risks, and roadblocks to relevant teams
🎨 Merchandising
- Maintain brand standards for visual presentation, cleanliness, and functionality
- Validate fixtures, graphics, furniture, and decor integrity; notify teams of missing/damaged equipment
- Coach & inform team members on visual merchandising updates
- Ensure store displays remain brand-aligned
👥 People & Culture
- Onboarding: Assist integration of new team members
- Performance Assessment: Validate employee performance against KPIs and review criteria
- Team Engagement: Build healthy workplace relationships and uphold policies
- Employee Relations: Adhere to and reinforce company compliance standards
Requirements
Experience in a high-volume retail environment
- Adaptable & creative problem-solving mindset
- Strong organisational & analytical skills
- Critical thinker (identifying challenges → developing action plans)
- Physical ability: Stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs Hours: Evenings, weekends & holidays (aligned with store schedule)
