Responsibilities

The Floor Manager will:

  • Set and enforce key standards across service, cleanliness, and guest experience.
  • Maintain efficiency in daily operations, balancing:
    • Staff performance
    • Guest flow (bookings, walk-ins)
    • Inventory (shortages, breakages)
  • Offer a hands-on approach, including:
    • Welcoming guests
    • Table waiting and drink preparation
  • Enforce standards—sometimes by force—to uphold Loading’s reputation.

Progression Beyond Level 80

Requirements

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience managing teams in a high-pressure, premium hospitality environment.
  • Clear leadership—able to drive performance without micromanaging.
  • Self-motivated with strong resourcefulness for unplanned scenarios.

  • Barista / bartending training—experience in premium bars or cocktail service.
