Job Opportunity: Warehouse Team Members
We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated Warehouse Team Members to join us at our Erith site (DA18 4AF). This is an exciting opportunity to grow with us as we develop the site into a key hub for our South East operations. In this role, you’ll support the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse by carrying out a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading LGV vehicles, operating a forklift truck, and picking and palletising products.
Please note: this is a hands-on position involving manual handling. The role is approximately 70% general warehouse duties and 30% FLT operation.
You will be expected to work Monday evening until Saturday morning, between 22:00 - 06:30 but may be required to work overtime on occasions to fit in with the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- As directed, safely load and unload products onto trailers, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to
- Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage is kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm
- As necessary, complete relevant paperwork to confirm loading and unloading activities have been carried out for audit purposes
- Carry out any other warehouse tasks to support the effective running of the warehouse
- Receiving, picking, put away, replenishment and dispatch
- Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process
- Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, and escalate any concerns to your line manager as soon as possible
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager

Key Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage
- FLT counterbalance licence (minimum of 12 month’s experience)
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
