The Role
We are recruiting for a FLT Driver/Material Handling at our Markham Vale Site, operating a 12-hour continental shift pattern:
- Rainy shift: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Midnight shift: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to Shift Manager
- Oversee day-to-day day operations within the factory facility
- Load/unload pallets safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to health and safety protocols
- Operate a counterbalance fork lift truck (FLT)—essential qualification required
- Ensure accuracy, deadlines, and adherence to established procedures
This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on: ✔ Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail ✔ Flexibility in meeting tight deadlines and targets ✔ Ability to work unassisted and collaboratively as part of a team

Essential Requirements
- Counterbalance Fork Lift (FLT) license – Must have experience
- Current knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements
- Skill in safely stacking/unstacking large pallet quantities
- Ability to transfer pallets between storage and loading areas
- Proficiency in operating packaging machinery and maintaining a warehouse logistics workflow
- Track record of reliability, discretion, and initiative
- Computer literacy and ability to record, track, and follow documentation
- Willingness to perform varied duties (as and when required)
- Flags preferred: Experience in paper/packaging logistics or similar sectors
Desirable Queries

- Prior experience in a shift work environment
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Basic forklift/equipment maintenance
