Fluid Mechanics & Thermofluids Engineers

Location: Bristol, Derby or Solihull

Rolls-Royce is seeking Fluid Mechanics & Thermofluids Engineers to support a range of current and future opportunities across our Defence business.

Our Fluid Mechanics teams are responsible for understanding, analysing, and optimising the flow of air, fuel, oil, and thermal energy through some of the world’s most advanced aerospace propulsion systems. These teams play a vital role in ensuring product performance, efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

We are interested in hearing from engineers with experience in:

  • Aerothermal Engineering
  • Thermofluids Systems
  • Air Systems
  • Fuel and Oil Systems
  • Thermal and Thermo-Mechanical Analysis
  • Performance & Environmental Engineering
  • System Modelling and Simulation
  • Product Verification and Development

Requirements

  • A Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, or related disciplines
  • Strong analytical and modelling capability
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems within multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in aerospace, defence, or highly regulated industries is advantageous
