Fluid Mechanics & Thermofluids Engineers

Location: Bristol, Derby or Solihull


Rolls-Royce is seeking Fluid Mechanics & Thermofluids Engineers to support a range of current and future opportunities within our Defence business.

Our Fluid Mechanics teams are responsible for understanding, analysing, and optimising the flow of air, fuel, oil, and thermal energy through some of the world's most advanced aerospace propulsion systems. These teams play a pivotal role in shaping product performance, efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

We are looking for engineers with expertise in:

  • Aerothermal analysis
  • Thermofluids systems
  • Thermal systems
  • Fluid mechanics
  • Performance engineering

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, or heat transfer
  • A solid analytical and modelling capability
  • Ability to solve complex technical challenges within multidisciplinary teams
  • Advantageous if you have experience in aerospace, defence, or highly regulated industries
