FM Compliance Engineer
FM Compliance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Base Location
You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of our:
- Perth
- Havant / Reading
- Thatcham
Salary & Benefits £35,200 – £52,800 per annum
- Car or car allowance included

Role Overview
This role is a fantastic opportunity to join as an FM Compliance Engineer (electrical bias). You’ll be instrumental in ensuring safe, compliant, and supportive work environments across a mix of properties in the UK and Ireland.
Key focus areas: driving a safety-first culture through collaboration, clarity, and assured risk management—working across FM teams, contractors, and stakeholders to enhance proactive compliance.
By designing and implementing effective maintenance and governance protocols, you’ll enable every site to operate with confidence, integrity, and resilience.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FM teams and contractors to build a culture of safety, accountability, and compliance
- Plan, execute, and monitor statutory maintenance activities to meet regulatory and organisational standards
- Provide data-driven insights, reports, and analytics to identify performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Lead and support compliance audits, ensuring up-to-date records, active compliance reporting, and readiness across all sites
- Guide contractors’ performance to uphold quality, value alignment, and conformity with service standards

Your Profile
Experience
- Proven experience in:
- Electrical compliance, or engineering/technical assurance roles within facility management (FM) or estates environments
- Understanding statutory compliance across building services:
- Mechanical/HVAC systems
- Fire safety
- Asbestos risk management
Skills & Mindset
- Ability to build trusting relationships and communicate complex technical information clearly and confidently
- Detail-oriented with a strong appetite for risk analysis, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making
- Inquisitive and proactive about upskilling—committed to continuous professional development
