FM Compliance Engineer
FM Compliance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in our Perth, Havant, Reading, or Thatcham office.
Salary: £35,200 – £52,800 + car/car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits including financial, wellbeing, and family support.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full-time | Flexible First options available
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join as an FM Compliance Engineer (electrical bias), where you’ll play a vital role in creating safe, supportive, and fully compliant environments across a diverse property portfolio in the UK and Ireland. You’ll be at the heart of fostering a strong safety-first culture—bringing clarity, care, and collaboration to complex compliance challenges.
Working closely with FM teams, contractors, and stakeholders, you’ll help shape a proactive, well-governed approach to statutory maintenance and risk management, ensuring every site operates with confidence, integrity, and resilience.
You Will
- Build collaborative partnerships with FM teams and contractors to nurture a culture of safety, compliance, and shared accountability
- Plan, deliver, and monitor statutory maintenance activities, ensuring all sites meet regulatory and organisational standards
- Provide clear, insightful reporting and analysis to highlight performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Lead and support audits, maintaining accurate compliance records and ensuring readiness across all sites
- Guide contractor performance with a focus on quality, value, and alignment to service standards and expectations

You Have
- Experience in electrical compliance, engineering, or technical assurance within an FM or estates environment
- A strong understanding of statutory compliance across other building services, including mechanical, HVAC, fire safety, and asbestos
- The ability to build trusting relationships and communicate technical information with clarity and confidence
- A thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to analysing data, managing risk, and improving processes
- Relevant technical qualifications and a genuine commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
