The Role

You’ll be at the heart of fostering a strong safety-first culture-bringing clarity, care and collaboration to complex compliance challenges. Working within the FM team, you'll oversee statutory compliance programmes across a diverse range of building systems and assets, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC/F-Gas, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene (Legionella) etc. You'll work closely with FM teams, site responsible persons, contractors and stakeholders to ensure that statutory inspections, maintenance activities, remedial works and compliance records are managed effectively and in line with regulatory requirements. You’ll help shape a proactive, well-governed approach to statutory maintenance and risk management, ensuring every site operates with confidence, integrity and resilience.

We are seeking a compliance professional with a strong electrical engineering or electrical compliance background who can apply their technical expertise across a broader range of building compliance disciplines. While electrical compliance will be a core area of focus, you'll also play a key role in supporting compliance assurance across other statutory systems and services, helping to drive compliance excellence throughout the estate.

You Will

  • Work collaboratively with contractors, FM teams and Responsible Persons to ensure service delivery meets statutory requirements, contractual obligations and agreed SLAs.
  • Guide contractor performance with a focus on quality, value and alignment to service standards and expectations.
  • Analyse compliance records, maintenance data and audit findings to identify risks, drive corrective actions and support a proactive approach to compliance management.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records within asset management systems and support internal and external audits.
  • Identify, scope and manage remedial works required to address compliance issues, ensuring timely resolution and risk reduction.
  • Provide clear, insightful reporting and performance analysis to support compliance governance, budgeting and strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor changes in legislation, industry guidance and best practice to ensure continued compliance across the estate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
