What you'll do

You’ll support strategic decision-making by leveraging detailed analysis and insight creation to drive efficiencies and improvements in FM service delivery. You’ll provide strategic guidance for the FM team, identifying and delivering value-add opportunities for continuous improvement, and developing robust project plans to ensure successful outcomes. By combining qualitative and quantitative data, you will generate well-informed insights, track savings targets, and highlight areas of opportunity and risk to drive business value and enhance FM performance. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally to absorb property and retail information into FM analysis, innovate solutions to technical and operational challenges, and uphold the integrity of strategy, insight, and systems to ensure accuracy and informed decision-making across Sainsbury’s.

Who you are

You have a strong background in insight creation and project management within the FM sector. Your ability to analyse data, generate strategic solutions, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives is essential in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of FM services. With exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, you excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies, cost reductions, and strategic decision-making. Experience with Power BI or Tableau would be beneficial.

Essential criteria

  • Strong analytical skills in Excel & strong presentation skills using PowerPoint
  • Demonstrable experience using qualitative and quantitative data to spot trends & generate insights
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions in a large organisation, translating operational and commercial information into actionable improvement opportunities
  • Evidence of developing and managing project plans
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
