ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provide all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

The Data Center Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Prioritize delivery exceptional customer satisfaction.

Be Part of Our Success

  • Monitor and maintain data center physical infrastructure to ensure 99.99% uptime.
  • Manage power systems, including UPS, generators, and distribution units.
  • Handling environmental controls such as cooling, humidity, fire suppression, and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and environmental issues promptly.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and upgrades of data center equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for repairs, upgrades, and capacity planning.
  • Develop and update documentation related to data center configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor activities and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and site regulations
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • Coordinate and obtain necessary security clearances for visitors and vendors accessing the premises
  • Support and mentor junior staff members as needed.

Qualities We Value

  • 3 years of experience as a Facilities /Data Centre Engineer or in a similar role
  • Able to understand Electrical Single Line Diagrams and Mechanical Schematics
  • Knowledge of the building process and Data Centre operation
  • Technical knowledge in Data Centre equipment with basic repair knowledge, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes
  • A team player with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and their practical use
  • Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts with a 3-days day/night rotation schedule
  • Able to cover shift work to support absent colleagues or meet operational needs
