Job overview FM Supervisor Band 3 - £25,760 - £27,474 per annum pro rata (£13.17 - £14.05 per hour) 21 hours per week - See below for rota St. Aubyn Centre, Colchester Please note you must have right to work in the UK to apply for this position. Previous Applicants need not apply Shift 1 Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 15.00 – 19.00 Week 2 - Saturday & Sunday, 08.00 – 13.00 Shift 2 Every other week, Wednesday - Sunday, 15.00 – 19.00 This post will include Unsocial Hours Payments as follows: Saturday - Time plus 35% of the salary Sunday - Time plus 69% of the salary Hours and shifts can be discussed at interview

You will be responsible for the day to day co-supervision of the FM services and will be the customers’ point of contact for any FM related issues, using a trust vehicle (you must hold a valid UK full driving license). The FM services comprise of the cleaning, catering, portering, and goods receiving services, linen and laundry management. You will be responsible for supporting the management of all the FM Assistants

Main duties of the job

Ensure that all areas are maintained to a clean and hygienic level for patients, trust staff and visitors in line with the current National Standards of Cleanliness. Ensure compliance with legislation relating to both Food Safety and Health and Safety. To deal efficiently any complaints/issues, report remedial action to FM Supervisor and Facilities Officer.

As part of the Facilities Team you are expected to have a flexible approach, excellent interpersonal and customer skills, ability to use a degree of initiative to prioritise and organise your duties.

The Estates & Facilities Department is responsible for delivering high quality and cost effective services across Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking to appoint a number of enthusiastic and highly motivated team player to join the Estates & Facilities cleaning team to deliver excellent environments for Healthcare within our units in Clacton.

Working on your own or as part of a team you will maintain high standards of cleaning. You will need to be able to provide a customer focused service and be of a friendly and helpful nature.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
