Join Northwood, and play a pivotal role in supporting the movement of goods and materials throughout our warehouse and production environments.
This permanent role is based on the double days shift (alternating 6am to 2pm; 2pm to 10pm).
About The Role
Your Day To Day
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse team in ensuring all activities are conducted in a safe manner and in line with SOPs.
- Responsibility for transacting stock movements, shipments, and storage using our standard systems (SAP initially, prior to implementation of WMS system).
- Supervise and take responsibility for the movement of Finished Goods, as well as Raw Materials including Parent Reels.
- Supporting the coordination of shipment and goods in schedules, storage systems, ensuring adequate space is available, and Parent Reels and Finished Goods are stored in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain communication with hauliers and counterparts across Group regarding storage, volumes/quantities, and available stock.
- Set and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety across all areas.
- Support recruitment of Warehousing staff as required, assisting in interviews.
- Lead and motivate a high performing team, ensuring safety comes first, clearly communicating short term and long term objectives, and supporting your team’s learning and development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
We're looking for:
- Demonstrable experience as a Warehouse Team Leader in a Supply Chain environment attached to a Production environment
- Good experience and understanding of ERP and WMS systems, for example, SAP, Synergy SNAP, Oracle, or similar
- Strong understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Helpful and adaptive approach to competing priorities
