Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant – Restaurant, High Legh Garden Centre

Our competitive rate of pay ranges from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour, dependent on age.

We are seeking a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant to join our team in our restaurant located at High Legh Garden Centre.


The Role: Hours & Flexibility

  • 20 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends
  • Flexibility is essential – ability to adapt to varying schedules is a must

Key Responsibilities

As a Front of House Assistant, you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service, take orders, and deliver food and beverages
  • Promote our food and beverage menus, offering tailored recommendations to customers
  • Maintain high standards in hygiene and cleanliness across all front-of-house areas
  • Process payments efficiently at electronic till points
  • Ensure smooth operations in collaboration with FOH and kitchen teams

Daily Duties Include:

  • Setting up and maintaining counters to company standards
  • Offering menu presentations, serving, and assisting with customer selections
  • Providing counter service and preparing beverages (barista skills preferred but training provided)
  • Delivering chef-prepared meals to tables
  • Preparing tables with meticulous attention to hygiene and cleanliness
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as required
  • Closing front-of-house areas each day to the highest standards
  • Assisting with back-of-house duties when necessary
