Food and Beverage Assistant

Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire, United Kingdom

Salary: £11.77 to £14.24 per hour including holiday accrual, plus service charge.

Job Type: Casual, Permanent

We are a leading establishment within the New Forest Collection, dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality experiences in the heart of Lyndhurst, Hampshire.

Role Overview:

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining facilities. You will assist in delivering high-quality service to our guests and maintaining the overall efficiency of our food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all guests dining at our establishment
  • Assisting with food and drink orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Setting up dining areas and maintaining cleanliness throughout shifts
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food delivery
  • Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
  • Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within the catering or hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Food hygiene certification is desirable
