Food and Beverage Assistant
🌿 Food and Beverage Assistant – Part-Time (20 hrs/week)
📍 Location: Deerpark (Liskeard, Cornwall) 💰 Salary: £12.71 per hour (Under 18?* £8.00 (age 16), £10.85 (age 17)**)*
⏰ Working Hours: Part-time (20 hrs/week) 📅 Days: 4 days per week (3 x 4-hour shifts + 1 x 8-hour shift)

About the Role
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you’ll be the heart of the Forest Retreat, our welcoming café, shop, and reception hub. Your role ensures every guest feels at home while immersing themselves in nature.
Unlike traditional fast-paced hospitality, Deerpark offers a different rhythm:
- Starting no earlier than 8 am ➡ lets you enjoy natural light
- Closing by 9 pm ➡ balance for a serene workday
- A mix of nature and service ➡ perfect for those who love both hospitality and the outdoors
With your friendly expertise, you’ll craft the ideal “Forest Feeling”, blending top-tier guest service with a calm, purposive workspace.
Your Key Responsibilities
- ** café & retail service:**
- Warmly greet guests and deliver exceptional service throughout their stay
- Prepare and serve food, drinks, and refreshments in a retail and café environment
- Manage cash handling and till operations securely

✔ A passion for customer-facing roles, preferably in : (hospitality, retail, or similar)

✔ Ability to adapt flexible shifts and enjoy varied tasks
