Food and Beverage Assistant – Holiday Inn Reading-South
£13,219.03 per annum / £12.71 per hour 20 hours per week across 4 days Work flexibly and enjoy great rewards while learning and growing beyond your role.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Assistant at Holiday Inn Reading-South. In this role, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, playing a key part in delivering exceptional service and ensuring our diners leave with a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and serving of food and beverages, ensuring guests receive exceptional service in a prompt and pleasant manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas of the highest standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Providing consistent, high-quality customer service, including addressing guest inquiries and handling complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Supporting the Food and Beverage team in day-to-day operations, such as:
- Setting up and clearing tables
- Restocking supplies
- Assisting with inventory management
- Assisting in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
- Ensuring all dining areas, bars, and public spaces are well-stocked, clean, and presented impeccably at all times.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or F&B-related role is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you’re a natural with guests!
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently balancing multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to decades of exceptional standards.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
