Food and Beverage Assistant – Holiday Inn London - Gatwick Airport

Salary & Hours

£15,862.08 per annum / £12.71 per hour, 24 hours per week across 3 days Get paid for doing what you love, plus loads of rewards, benefits, and the chance to learn new skills.


About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Assistant. As a key part of the guest experience, you’ll deliver exceptional service, ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages in an efficient and pleasant manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, including:
    • Addressing guest inquiries
    • Resolving complaints promptly and professionally
  • Support the Food and Beverage team with operational duties, such as:
    • Setting up and clearing tables
    • Restocking supplies
    • Assisting with inventory management
  • Contribute to event coordination and execution for special functions
  • Ensure all dining areas are well-stocked and impeccably presented at all times

Desired Skills & Experience

While previous experience in hospitality is desirable, it’s not mandatory. We’re looking for:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently
  • A strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards
  • Flexibility to work across evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
