This is the Position for You
We’re recruiting for an Assistant Manager to lead our destination bar and restaurant, Brightsmith on the Water at Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Here, you’ll bring a natural rapport with customers and a sophisticated, warm personality—fuelled by good practical experience and charisma.
This role is for those who’ve already built a foundation in restaurant and bar management and are eager to grow within their next step.

What a Typical Day Looks Like
You’ll support and enhance all Food & Beverage operations, including:
- Bar, restaurant, room service, and events
- Outstanding guest experience: Warm welcome, accurate order-taking, and seamless service
- Precision table preparation: Folding napkins, setting elegantly, and arranging tableware for dining and events
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety: Keeping workspaces clean, organised, and tidy
- Regulatory compliance: Upholding health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness standards
