Food and Beverage Assistant

Food and Beverage Assistant

Location: voco Zeal, Exeter Science Park Salary: £15,862.08 per annum / £12.71 per hour, 24 hours per week across 4 days

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience, delivering attentive service and helping create memorable dining experiences.


The Role

  • Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages, ensuring efficient and smile-filled service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in dining areas, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest queries and resolving issues promptly
  • Support operational duties, including:
    • Setting up and clearing tables
    • Restocking supplies
    • Assisting with inventory management
  • Help coordinate and run events and special functions
  • Ensure all areas remain well-stocked and presented to a high standard at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not required
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to high standards
  • Flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays
