Overview of the Role Lead the planning and live delivery of Food & Beverage across RHS Shows—helping to create an outstanding visitor experience at some of the UK’s biggest events. Work with the Shows F&B Operations Manager to manage third-party catering partners—setting clear expectations and keeping service, safety and RHS brand standards high. Be a hands-on presence on site during live days, supporting teams and contractors to keep operations running smoothly from open to close. Help drive commercial performance and continual improvement across show season and wider F&B projects, deputising when required. What you’ll do Own the day-to-day delivery of F&B across RHS Shows—planning, coordinating and troubleshooting in a fast-paced live environment. Hold catering partners to account against contracts, compliance and RHS brand standards—keeping quality consistent across every outlet. Champion safe, legal and high-standard operations (Licensing, Health & Safety and Food Safety), with great presentation and service as the baseline. Use trading insight and reporting to improve performance, support off-season projects and step up as deputy when needed. Ensure compliance with Licensing, Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements and maintain excellent outlet standards. Support commercial performance and improvement through trading reviews, reporting and off-season projects; deputise as required.

About you Proven experience in large-scale event or visitor-attraction F&B operations—and you genuinely enjoy delivering great guest experiences. A confident, positive hospitality professional who can influence teams and third-party contractors. Food Safety/allergen awareness qualification (or willingness to work towards this) with a strong compliance mindset. Organised and commercially aware, with strong Word/Excel skills for monitoring and reporting. Desirable: experience with contract caterers (including tendering/mobilisation) and budget/P&L or KPI reporting. Desirable: knowledge of F&B trends and/or conferences and banqueting.
Other information This is a hands-on operational role requiring flexibility, including evenings, weekends and peak event periods. You’ll work across multiple RHS locations and live event environments; during show season, up to two weeks staying away from home may be required for each show.
