Description
The Food and Beverage Runner will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth delivery of food and drinks to our guests. Working closely with the service team, the primary responsibility is to assist in delivering orders from the kitchen and bar to the appropriate tables whilst ensuring that dishes and beverages are presented beautifully, accurately, and promptly.

Key Responsibilities
To create and implement a best-in-class and award-winning guest experience through:
- Food Delivery: Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and present them to the appropriate tables. Ensure that each dish is precisely matched with the guest’s order and inform servers of any personalised requests or modifications. Handle multiple orders simultaneously, maintaining order accuracy, efficiency, and excellency.
- Drink Delivery: Retrieve drink orders from the bar and present them to the appropriate tables. Ensure that each beverage is precisely matched with the guest’s order. Handle multiple orders simultaneously, maintaining order accuracy, efficiency, and excellency.
- Table Maintenance: Assist in setting up dining tables and maintaining their cleanliness and organisation. Monitor tables for any necessary clearing and resetting, supporting the overall dining experience.
- Communication: Ensure seamless communication with the kitchen and service team members to coordinate the timing and presentation of dishes. Relay any guest requests, allergies, or special instructions to the kitchen and serving staff.
- Knowledge of Menu: Familiarise yourself with the restaurant's menu and dish descriptions to accurately present them to guests. Describe menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques to guests when required.
- Teamwork: Engage and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service. Assist with any additional tasks or requests from the service team.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations. Follow established service, health, and safety procedures. Uphold company policies and standards for quality service.
- Sustainability: To promote, implement and act with the sustainability initiatives as directed by Escapade Silverstone.

- Detailed objectives will be set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or any other lifestyle/distinctive brand is desirable but not required
- A strong, yet positive guest service style
- Organised and ability to work within the team or on their own
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A good command of the English language is desirable. Additional languages are advantageous
- Maintains impeccable personal grooming standards while radiating an aura of elegance and refinement
- Full clean UK driving licence is desirable
