About Pyrford Lakes
Pyrford Lakes is one of the UK's busiest and most welcoming golf venues, delivering outstanding golf experiences to tens of thousands of players every year. The Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive hospitality professional to help lead and support our team. This will involve both casual and events trade as well as back of house organisation, cellar management and training. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll help deliver outstanding service both in the clubhouse and events suite.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative supportive environment, thrives under pressure, and is happy to turn their hand to everything from serving coffees to setting up and delivering large events, supporting new members of the team, and delivering reliable and well prepared shifts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
