An exciting opportunity has become available at Copthorne Hotel Newcastle for the Food & Beverage Assistant position.
Our Food & Beverage Assistant will help the hotel to continue to deliver great service to our guests in the bar, restaurant and functions area.
Key Information:
Role: Food & Beverage Assistant
Hours of Work: 20 hours
Location: Copthorne Hotel Newcastle, NE1 3RT
Responsibilities:
- The service of food & beverage products in the bar, restaurant and function area
- To be able to understand and communicate effectively the menu and all products available to customers
- Deal with all payment transactions (Cash, card and room charging) according to company guidelines
- To provide a warm and welcoming service, ensuring that all queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly

Requirements:
- Experience in a food & beverage position
- Great customer service skills
- The ability to work under pressure as part of a team and maintain a professional approach
- Experience working with payments
- Experience of Micros would be an advantage
- Flexible to cover various shifts over the festive season including weekend party events
