Food & Beverage Assistant

Food & Beverage Assistant Required for Castle Lodge Care Home in Mere, Part of the Country Court Family


Hours: 30/40 hours per week, working weekends on rota (08:00–18:30)

Castle Lodge Care Home is a brand-new, tranquil facility offering residential and specialist dementia care. As part of Country Court Care, we provide round-the-clock support in peaceful surroundings to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable, safe, and enriching lifestyle.

ABOUT THE FOOD & BEVERAGE ROLE

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll play a key role in enhancing residents’ quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving meals, snacks, and beverages to residents
  • Replenishing snack stations
  • Cleaning up after meals
  • Re-laying tables and tablecloths
  • Maintaining cleanliness in dining/kochen areas

ABOUT YOU

We seek a welcoming, caring individual with:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the food/restaurant industry
  • Familiarity with COSHH and health & safety standards
  • A friendly, empathetic demeanour
  • Ability to engage well with residents and their families
  • Understanding of dementia care
  • Adaptability to work independently or as part of a team
