Food and Beverage Assistant – Dalata Hotel Group

About the Role

At Dalata, we believe in promoting from within and provide training through our Dalata Academy to help you develop essential skills while learning from experienced team members.

The Food and Beverage Assistant will play a vital role in delivering friendly and efficient service to our hotel guests across all Dalata properties.

Reporting to: Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager

Your Job

Key Responsibilities

  • Served guests with food and beverages while maintaining friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Greet regular guests by name, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience
  • Develop a strong knowledge of food and wine, providing tailored recommendations
  • Upsell and maximise sales revenue across all opportunities in both restaurants and bars
  • Perform general cleaning duties in the bar and restaurant areas
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-volume, fast-paced service excellence
  • Represent Dalata’s brand culture as part of a welcoming team environment

What You’ll Need

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Previous hospitality experience (essential)
  • Experience in a hotel setting (preferred)
  • Fitness for 4+ days + evenings/weekend work
  • Work in morning, evening, and weekend shifts (flexibility required)
  • Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced F&B environment
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with POS systems (e.g., Micros) (preferred)
