FOOD & BEVERAGE ASSISTANT
£24,784.76 per annum + monthly service charge payment
The Place
Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, part of Alexander Hotels a private group of quality hotels of distinction just outside London.
5 Red Star, Award winning Utopia Spa, 57 bedrooms including the new luxury Cedar Lodge development and a 2-bedroom self-contained Gatehouse are available for guests.
2 Award winning restaurants, Reflections Restaurant (2 Rosette x 60 covers), AG’s Restaurant (3 Rosette x 35covers) together with a range of conference and banqueting and private dining rooms catering for 8 to 95 guests.

The Role
Working in our Reflections Restaurant (2 Rosette) or our AG’s Restaurant (3 Rosettes) with responsibility for the service of food and beverage to residents, spa guests and local visitors. Service for guests covers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days per week so candidates must be available for flexible shift patterns across 5 days including weekends. We also operate a range of beautiful private dining rooms for functions, weddings, celebrations, conferences and other events.

MAIN DUTIES
Preparing the restaurant for service Meeting and greeting guests Taking guest orders Serving food and beverage including alcoholic beverages Completing satisfaction checks Resolving any service issues Presenting bills to guests and taking payment Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift ready for the next service Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing
Requirements.
5 days 37.5 hrs per week, flexible shifts covering breakfast/lunch/dinner service, including weekends Smart appearance, excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service. Experience within a quality food service hotel/restaurant required
