Food & Beverage Assistant 37.5 hrs per week

The Role

Working in our 2 Rosette Hotel Restaurant you will be serving food and beverage to residents, conference and event guests as well as local visitors. Service for guests covers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days per week so candidates must be available for flexible shift patterns across 5 days including weekends Duties include;

  • Preparing the restaurant for service
  • Meeting and greeting guests
  • Taking guest orders
  • Serving food and beverage including alcoholic beverages
  • Completing satisfaction checks
  • Resolving any service issues
  • Presenting bills to guests and taking payment
  • Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift ready for the next service
  • Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing

Requirements

  • You must have transport due to the hotels semi-rural location
  • You must have smart appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for guest service and experience within a quality food service hotel/restaurant required.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts 5 days, 37.5 hrs per week including weekends. Shift patterns include; 6.30am to 1.00pm, 7am – 2.30pm and 3.30pm to 11pm

Since its purchase this venue has been transformed into a beautiful 4 Star AA Country House Hotel. The Hotel including 56 boutique rooms, suites and residences, are appointed with designer furnishings and are spread across the main Mansion House, Courtyard and Gardener’s Cottage.

Our luxurious Oak Room restaurant, 1905 Bar, Library and a range of sumptuous lounges and private dining rooms, provide dining for all tastes. For wedding, corporate and events guests we have a range of private wedding and conference suites. For those seeking relaxation our Utopia treatments are available in our designated treatment rooms in the hotel
