Food and Beverage Assistant
Location: Buxton Crescent Contract: Full Time Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour plus tips
About the Role
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest service within our Champneys hotel and spa. With a thorough understanding of our menus, ingredients, and daily offerings, you will ensure that every guest experiences a level of excellence.
Supporting sales within the Food & Beverage (F&B) department, you will act as an ambassador for Champneys, embodying our passion for guest wellbeing and luxury hospitality.
Responsibilities

Guest Service & Upselling
- Provide courteous, professional, and passionate service to drive sales
- Take reservations, orders, and deliver food & beverages with attentive service
- Use every opportunity to upsell while maintaining high standards

Menu & Dietary Knowledge
- Have a comprehensive understanding of our menus, enabling you to assist with guest queries
- Be knowledgeable about dietary needs, calorific values, and basic nutrition to offer informed advice
- Ensuring all menu-related literature is available and up to date

Operational Excellence
- Keep the F&B area, dining spaces, and cellar clean, safe, and hygienic
- Maintain company standards for wine storage, barrotation, and display of drinks
- Prepare restaurant and bar areas for service effectively
