The Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Duties Your duties will be in our Restaurant department , together with our dedicated team you will be responsible for serving Breakfast and Dinner within the hotel, experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. You should have good communication and organisational skills and the desire to become a key member of staff. You must be able to speak English to a good standard and be eligible to work in the UK and provide appropriate documentation to support this. Uniform Provided Meals on duty Free use of leisure facilities Bonus Scheme in Operation plus Gratuities Paid Quarterly Split and Straight Shifts (40 hours over 5 days) Paid Monthly on a Salary Basis (£2347.00 Live Out Per Month) A live-in position could be available on a live-in salary Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen spaces. Support kitchen staff with basic culinary tasks as required. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and promote menu items. Collaborate with team members to create a harmonious work environment focused on hospitality. Qualifications Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential. Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A passion for food preparation and culinary arts is preferred. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A commitment to providing outstanding service and helping others enjoy their dining experience. A Live in position could be available.
