Food & Beverage Assistant
Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is looking for enthusiastic, friendly and motivated Food & Beverage Assistants to join our professional hospitality team.

The Role
Reporting to the Restaurant & Bars Manager, you will help deliver outstanding service across the resort, including:
- The Shelburne Restaurant
- The Clubhouse Bar
- The Kerry Suite Conference & Banqueting facilities
Working as part of a supportive team, you will ensure every member, guest and visitor receives a warm welcome and an exceptional dining experience while maintaining the high standards expected at Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a shift rota basis. Applicants must be flexible to cover shifts within an operating window of 07.00-23.30, shifts are typically 07.00-15.30 or 15.00-23.30.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Welcome and serve hotel guests, golf members, conference delegates and visitors.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to the highest standards.
- Prepare and maintain restaurant, bar and event areas.
- Assist with conferences, weddings, private functions and banqueting events.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, presentation and food safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across all hospitality departments.
- Help ensure an efficient, cost-effective operation while delivering outstanding guest satisfaction.
The successful applicant will:
- Have a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
- Enjoy working with people and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Be friendly, positive and professional.
- Work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Be flexible and happy to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, bars, hotels or food service is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Own reliable transport is essential due to the rural location which is easily commutable from Chippenham, Swindon, Devizes, Melksham, Bath, Corsham and surrounding Wiltshire areas.
