Food & Beverage Assistant - Hilsea Lido

Team Member – Hilsea Lido
Location: Portsmouth Salary: £12.71/hour, Casual Contract Hours: Part-time/Full-time (flexible hours including evenings & weekends)
You'll be working across all four of our buzzing food and beverage units—from serving delicious coffee in the café to flipping burgers, scooping ice cream, and keeping our grab-and-go kiosk stocked. No two days are the same, and that's what makes this role so exciting!

Create Memorable Moments
- Greet every guest with a warm smile and make them feel welcome
- Serve food and drinks quickly, accurately, and with genuine care
- Handle questions and requests with positivity and professionalism
- Spot opportunities to go the extra mile and make someone's day
Work Across All Units
- Jump between the Café, Burger Kitchen, Ice-Cream Unit, and Kiosk as needed
- Prepare food and drinks following our high standards and safety procedures
- Master allergen awareness and food handling—keeping everyone safe
- Keep displays looking fresh, inviting, and fully stocked
Keep Things Running Smoothly
- Maintain spotless service areas that guests love to visit
- Clean and sanitise equipment, surfaces, and back-of-house areas
- Support stock rotation and help reduce waste
- Assist with events and special setups when needed
