Food & Beverage Assistant – Zero Hours Contract
Location: Buxton Crescent Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour plus tips
About the Role
Our Food and Beverage Assistants must have a complete working knowledge of our menus, ingredients, and daily offerings. You’ll play a critical role in delivering excellent service, upholding our standards, and driving sales within the F&B department while being an ambassador for Champneys.
Your duties include:
- Providing consistent, high-standard service with courtesy and professionalism.
- Promoting Champneys through exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Service & Guest Relations
- Ensure the F&B area is clean, inviting, and up to our guests’ expectations.
- Have a detailed understanding of dietary needs and provide accurate advice.
- Advise guests on calorific values and nutrition to help them make informed menu choices.
- Answer guest queries with precision, using knowledge of all food & beverage menus.
- Take reservations and orders, deliver food and beverages, and provide experiential service.
- Upsell opportunities to maximise revenue while maintaining exceptional service.

Operational Excellence
- Keep the dining area, cellar, and F&B zones clean, safe, and hygienic.
- Prepare restaurant & bar areas for service as per Company standards.
- Manage bar stock rotation and maintain sales displays following guidelines.
- Use App technology for shift management.
