Set on the southern shores of Lake Windermere, just one mile from Newby Bridge, Lakeside Hotel & Spa is a luxury, full-service property offering 83 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, brasserie, spa, swimming pool, and a conference suite with uninterrupted lake views.

The Opportunity
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in the daily operation of our food and drink service, providing attentive and professional service while supporting the smooth running of the Food and Beverage operation. You will help create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for guests, whether they are dining, enjoying drinks, or celebrating special occasions.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, you will help maintain high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing attentive food and beverage service to guests
- Taking orders accurately and delivering food and drinks promptly
- Supporting the bar and restaurant teams during service
- Preparing tables and ensuring areas are clean, organized, and presentable
- Assisting with the setup and clear down of service areas
- Handling guest queries in a professional and helpful manner
- Processing orders and payments accurately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Working collaboratively with the wider Food & Beverage team
What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment
- A friendly, professional, and confident approach when interacting with guests
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Flexibility, reliability, and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality
