The Role at Crathorne Hall Hotel
We are now recruiting for a Food & Beverage Assistant at Crathorne Hall Hotel, a luxurious 1906-stately home in North Yorkshire, renowned for its Leven Valley views and Yorkshire Moors proximity. This stunning lodge exudes grandeur, warmth, and elegance—perfect for guests seeking a magical escape in the British countryside.
Key Responsibilities
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will:
- Prepare food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards, maintaining flawless presentation.
- Master menu knowledge, including:
- Main ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods
- Accurate product descriptions with tailored guest recommendations
- Collaborate enthusiastically with the team to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain a basic-level understanding of the wine list and stock availability.
- Familiarise yourself with food and wine matching principles, including:
- Grape varieties
- Predominant flavours
- Inspire yourself and colleagues to deliver passion and joy in every task.

About You
To thrive in this role, you must:
- Have current experience (or solid knowledge) in food and beverage within a high-quality hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Be driven, flexible, and adaptable, willing to assist across departments as needs arise.
- Possess high emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs, ensuring personalised, outstanding service—delivering magic every time.
