Set on the southern shores of Lake Windermere, just one mile from Newby Bridge, Lakeside Hotel & Spa is a luxury, full-service property offering 83 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, brasserie, spa, swimming pool and a conference suite with uninterrupted lake views. As part of the Classic Lodges collection, we combine independent character with a commitment to professional excellence.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager to assist our F&B manager in overseeing daily operations across our food and beverage outlets. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the team to deliver efficient and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered Supervise, motivate, and support team members during shifts Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers where necessary Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management Support budgeting, cost control, and revenue targets Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all areas Act as the main point of contact during duty shifts

About You

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within food and beverage Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure Good understanding of health & safety and food hygiene regulations Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays A hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality
