Food & Beverage Operations Manager
Are you ready to make your mark in York? Pearly Cow York is looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead its thriving F&B operations.
From the refined dining of Pearly Cow Restaurant to the energetic atmosphere of the Rhubarb Bar and event spaces, you’ll orchestrate an experience that’s both exceptional and uniquely York.
This is a full-time role (45 hours per week) with a competitive pay package of £51k OTE (£43k basic salary).
Key Responsibilities

Leadership across all F&B outlets
- Oversee Pearly Cow Restaurant, Rhubarb Bar and events spaces with an unparalleled sense of hospitality
- Ensure seamless operations, from sunrise breakfast service to late-night events

Revenue & Profit Growth
- Drive profitability through creative events, upselling strategies and guest engagement techniques
- Maximise footfall and patronage at every venue level

About You
You’re the kind of F&B professional who thrives in high-energy environments with:
- Proven experience in multi-outlet hospitality, including events (preferred)
- Strong people management skills—leading teams while fostering great guest connections
- Bold creative and commercial acumen—think strategic innovation and revenue growth
- Reassuring clutch under pressure—even in the liveliest service scenarios
- Natural diplomacy and storytelling—because hospitality is about emotion as well as efficiency
- A genuine passion for food, drink and York’s vibrant hospitality culture
