Food & Beverage Supervisor – Central Hotel
Do you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you quick on your feet, both literally and metaphorically, with a polite and friendly attitude? If so, we’d love to meet you!
We’re passionate about delivering excellent food and exciting drinks with style. We’re looking for a dynamic character with a natural flair and a magnetic personality to join us as our new Food & Beverage Supervisor. This role will set the standard for outstanding customer service across all interactions, with a focus on sales growth and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate our offerings confidently – Ensuring customers are well-informed about all food and beverage options.
- Handle transactions professionally – Processing cash, card, and room charges accurately, adhering to company guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service – Providing a warm, welcoming experience while addressing guest queries or special requirements.
- Manage team operations –
- Overseeing daily staffing needs, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
- Setting performance and development goals for team members.
- Drive quality and satisfaction – Ensuring the team meets high guest satisfaction standards and profitability targets.

Requirements
- Prior experience in a food & beverage supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong customer service skills with an attentive, professional approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively in a large team.
- Ideal candidates will have payment processing experience (preferably using Micros).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including breakfast, private events (M&E), and dinner service, with availability for evening and late-night duties.

The grade II listed Central Hotel, restored with care, dates back to 1884—a stunning boutique gem with a Beatles-inspired vibe. Our individually decorated rooms feature special commissioned artwork and thoughtfully furnised spaces for an unforgettable stay.
