Join our luxury hotel in the heart of historic Alnwick as an F&B Supervisor
You’ll oversee daily operations across our restaurant, bar, and in-room dining, ensuring exceptional guest experiences that reflect our five-star standards. The role involves leading and motivating the team, maintaining service excellence, managing stock and compliance, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in driving revenue and efficiency. Ideal candidates are hands-on, passionate about hospitality, and committed to delivering refined, memorable dining experiences in a relaxed, elegant setting.
Requirements
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor you will be expected to deputise for the Restaurant Manager in their absence. You will be required to play a vital role in leading and developing the team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, reliable and willing to learn.
Duties Will Include
- Oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, and in-room dining to maintain five-star standards.
- Supervise, train, and motivate F&B team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Ensure all areas comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Assist in managing staff rotas and ensuring adequate coverage for service periods.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and control wastage to meet budgetary targets.
- Support the F&B Manager in implementing service standards and procedures.
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Assist with the setup and delivery of private dining, functions, and special events.
- Conduct daily briefings to communicate menu changes, specials, and service expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance in all F&B outlets.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and menu consistency.
- Contribute to upselling initiatives to maximize revenue.
