Description
The Food & Beverage team plays a central role in shaping the Carnegie Club experience, delivering personalised, high-end service across multiple venues on the estate, from the historic castle and contemporary golf clubhouse to unique estate-wide locations. Our Food & Beverage team are responsible for the delivery of Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner service for our in-house members, ensuring that these are delivered with consistency, whilst allowing the team to let their personalities shine. We are deeply committed to fostering a healthy work-life balance. This is demonstrated not only through our avoidance of split shifts, but also by offering our team the flexibility to bank hours worked beyond their contractual obligations.
About The Role
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor you will take ownership of daily operations, leading your team from the front and ensuring a seamless service through every shift. You will act as a key link between Front of House, Kitchen and other teams, brining energy, precision and a passion for hospitality excellence.

What you'll do:
- Lead by example delivering impeccable intuitive service at every service period
- Build strong, personalised relationships with members, anticipating needs before they arise
- Ensure consistency in presentation, quality and service standard across all venues
- Collaborate closely with the Kitchen to guarantee flawless delivery of all food offerings.
- Maintain rigorous standards in health, safety and hygiene compliance
- Support specialist areas such as wine service, cigar condition and premium product handling
- Attend the morning or afternoon operational meetings, communicating the daily status of the department.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven supervisory/management experience in a luxury hospitality environment
- A natural leader with a hands-on, guest-focused approach
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A deep understanding of premium food, wine and service etiquette
- You're friendly, enthusiastic and enjoy meeting new people.
- You're a team-player and love working alongside colleagues in what can be a fast-paced environment.
- You're comfortable and have experience working with Microsoft Office programmes including Word and Excel.
- You might have completed an apprenticeship, internship or other qualification in hospitality which is fantastic, but it's not essential.
- You are willing to learn and take direction, and are keen to progress your role through your own training and development.
