Your Place of Work – Expectations
This role offers a chance to join a supportive team of leaders who will guide your career progression. You will be part of the award-winning Cast Iron Bar & Grill, a modern, friendly restaurant in Heathrow.
- You’ll work alongside in inspiring service experts, under the guidance of Food & Beverage Manager Abhinu
- Our Executive Chef, Javiniar, and team craft a fresh, local menu, ensuring every dish is perfectly cooked and served
- The restaurant provides comfortable and warm ambiance for all guests
Key Impact of the Role
Breakfast, lunch, or dinner—exceptional meals are about more than just food. As a Waiter, you’ll ensure:
- Every guest knows the menu and gets tailored recommendations
- Efficient service with attention to detail—fast, friendly, and flawless
- Immediate resolution of any guest concerns

What You’ll Do
You will:
- Take guests’ orders, offer menu suggestions, and ** upsell where appropriate**
- Ensure quick and efficient service—checking guest satisfaction to meet expectations
- Set up the restaurant and buffet area for each service period
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, buffet, kitchen, and potential bar areas
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, and motivating staff
- Model Marriott’s existing Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy—setting an example and leading this culture
- Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required certifications
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times
- Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Welcome guests with smiling enthusiasm, address needs proactively, assist with disability support, and express genuine appreciation
- Use welcoming, professional communication
What We’re Looking For
Marriott values team players who can:

- Pouss a positive outlook and dependability
- Have at least 2 years of experience in fast-paced, hospitality or similar environments
