Food Delivery App User Tester
Position: Contract Type: Contract Compensation: $10 – $30/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week
About the Role
Act as a real-user advocate to enhance food delivery platforms using an active account and honest experience.
- Leverage an existing food delivery app account with verified order history.
- Simulate genuine behaviour by generating relevant searches and activities.
- Provide clear, detailed feedback on search performance, recommendations, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide realistic user data & scenarios using genuine ordering behaviour.
- Document search intents and articulate full user journeys on grocery/discovery platforms.
- Assess and annotate the accuracy of search results and AI recommendations.
- Set out thought processes in well-structured, English-language reports, justifying decisions.
- Collaborate with the client’s team to refine AI/infra training with review and testing efforts.
- Spot usability flaws, suggest enhancements, and highlight platform inconsistencies.

Requirements
✅ Active food delivery app users with a history of orders (no restaurant ownership or driver roles). ✅ Deep familiarity with grocery/app discovery and food delivery ecosystems. ✅ Ability to craft credible search queries and evaluate result quality objectively. ✅ Strong written and verbal communication in English—analytical, specific and coherent. ✅ Proficient in using mobile/desktop with food delivery apps securely installed.
