Company Description

CERU Restaurants is an Eastern Mediterranean fusion concept inspired by travel, new flavors, and a love of food, drink, and sunshine. Located in South Kensington (7–9 Bute Street) and Queensway (11 Queensway, W2 4QJ) in London, CERU offers restaurant and catering services using ingredients from the Levant. The menu is vibrant, healthy, and indulgent, designed for sharing among friends, families, and colleagues. Guests can expect fresh, authentic dishes, a warm welcome, and a relaxed atmosphere that feels like a holiday every day. Team members are encouraged to help guests discover and share the flavors of the Levant.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Food Server role based in Greater London at CERU’s South Kensington and/or Queensway locations. The Food Server will greet guests, present menus, explain dishes and ingredients, and make recommendations that highlight CERU’s Eastern Mediterranean sharing concept.   • Taking orders accurately
  • Serving food and beverages promptly
  • Ensuring tables are set and cleared efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area

The Food Server will collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service, handle payments, and respond to guest requests and feedback in a professional manner. This role requires:

  • Adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Support for special events and catering services as needed

  • Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Experience or knowledge in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including basic food safety and hygiene.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Basic Cooking or food preparation awareness to understand menu items and ingredients from the Levant.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or café environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely.
  • Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a positive attitude toward learning and adapting in a fast-paced setting.
