Food Service Assistant – Corporate Food & Beverage
Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team, working with a prestigious global financial institution (established in 1799) spanning across London, Bournemouth, Dublin, Edinburgh, and Luxembourg.
This exciting role will involve supporting the reopening of our newly refurbished site, ensuring a seamless transition into the brand-new space while upholding our commitment to exceptional service delivery.
Note: This role is subject to client vetting.

A Day in the Life
- Operate the till and handle payments efficiently, managing customer transactions
- Strict adherence to food safety and hygiene procedures
- Restock supplies (cups, milk, pastries, coffee beans, etc.)
- Support the team during peak hours to ensure smooth workflow and quick service
- Assist with opening/closing duties, including:
- Cleaning
- Stock checks
- Equipment shutdowns
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to a high standard, including espresso-based drinks
- Deliver excellent customer service, greeting clients warmly and taking orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, seating area, and equipment throughout shifts
Requirements
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, welcoming attitude
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality service
- Good communication and teamwork mindset
- Attention to detail, especially when preparing drinks
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and till operations
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn about coffee equipment and procedures
